LOOM Weather ("LOOM," "we," "our") is a weather-aware outfit styling app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Clothing photos — uploaded for virtual try-on processing
• Outfit preferences — garment selections, styling choices, weather match scores
• Styling history — past outfit recommendations and AI chat conversations
• Anonymous usage data — app interactions, feature usage (no personal identifiers)
• Weather location data — city-level coordinates to retrieve local weather forecasts

2. How We Use Your Data

All data is used solely to provide and improve the LOOM styling experience:

• Generate weather-appropriate outfit recommendations
• Process virtual try-on images
• Deliver AI styling advice via chat
• Score outfit-weather compatibility

3. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic Claude AI — Receives garment names, materials, and weather conditions as text to generate styling recommendations. No photos are sent to Anthropic.
• FASHN AI — Receives photos for virtual try-on image processing. Images are processed and not retained beyond the session.
• Cloudinary — Hosts and transforms garment images on their CDN.
• Open-Meteo — Receives city-level coordinates to retrieve weather forecasts. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API.
• Supabase — Provides backend data storage, authentication, and edge function hosting.

4. Authentication

LOOM uses anonymous device-level authentication via Supabase. We do not collect your email address, password, name, or any personal contact information. Your account is tied to your device.

5. Data Retention

Your data is stored until you request deletion. You can delete all your data at any time via Profile > Delete All My Data in the app.

6. Your Rights

• Delete — Remove all your data instantly via the app
• Access — Your wardrobe and preferences are visible in the app
• Portability — Contact us for a data export

7. Data Licensing & Third-Party Access

LOOM may license anonymized, aggregated data derived from user wardrobe information, styling patterns, and fashion trends to third-party businesses, brands, retailers, and analytics partners through our data licensing program and API services. All licensed data is stripped of personal identifiers before sharing. Individual users cannot be identified from licensed datasets. By using LOOM and accepting our data consent, you agree to this anonymized data usage.

8. Data Processing for Service Improvement

Your data may be used to train and improve AI models, develop new features, conduct internal research, and generate fashion analytics. This processing is essential to providing and improving the LOOM service.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not display advertising. We do not use tracking or analytics SDKs that share data with advertisers. Anonymized data may be shared as described in Section 7.

10. Consent and Withdrawal

By accepting the data consent prompt in the app, you agree to the collection, processing, sharing, and licensing of your data as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data through Profile > Delete All My Data. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed from our active systems. Note that anonymized data that has already been aggregated and shared through our licensing program cannot be individually recalled, as it contains no personal identifiers.

11. Children's Privacy

LOOM is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the app.
