Terms of Service

By using LOOM Weather ("LOOM," "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

LOOM is a weather-aware outfit styling app that provides AI-generated clothing recommendations, virtual try-on, and weather-based outfit scoring. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

2. AI Recommendations

Outfit recommendations, styling advice, and weather match scores are generated by artificial intelligence and are suggestions only. They do not constitute professional fashion advice, weather forecasting, or safety guidance. You are solely responsible for your own clothing choices.

3. Third-Party Services

LOOM integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (AI styling), FASHN AI (virtual try-on), Cloudinary (image hosting), and Open-Meteo (weather data). These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Your use of LOOM constitutes acceptance of these third-party terms where applicable.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse or misuse AI features (e.g., attempting to extract harmful content)
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to access other users' data

5. Account & Data

LOOM uses anonymous authentication. You can delete all your data at any time via the app. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruption or unavailability of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOOM and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages related to clothing choices, weather exposure, or AI recommendations.

8. Data License Grant

By using LOOM, you grant LOOM Weather a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, process, aggregate, anonymize, and sublicense data derived from your use of the service, including but not limited to wardrobe data, styling preferences, outfit combinations, and fashion trend patterns. This license survives account deletion with respect to data that has been anonymized and aggregated prior to deletion. All shared data is anonymized and cannot be traced back to individual users.

9. API and Third-Party Access

LOOM may provide third-party businesses access to anonymized, aggregated data and analytics derived from user activity through API services and data licensing agreements. These third parties are bound by their own data handling obligations. LOOM is not responsible for how third parties use anonymized data obtained through our licensing program.

10. Intellectual Property

The LOOM app, its design, code, and content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of photos you upload but grant us a license to process them for the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
